The lady knight varsity volleyball team crushed Avon Grove in their first home game of the season last night, sweeping the match 3 wins to none. Saige Bradley led the team in aces, earning 8, followed closely by Sarah Trexler with 6. Shaun Chester earned her way onto the stat board with 2 spectacular kills, and Julianna Dragone fiercely served up 3 aces. None of these points would be possible without the purposeful passes and stellar sets by Emi Akamine and Grace Moreschi, earning 10 assists together. The lady knights next play Friday night at Coventry Christian away.
