Zachary DiFiore struck out 10 batters as the starting pitcher led Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights past Valley Forge Military Academy 12-1 on Friday at TBD. DiFiore surrendered one hit and one run over four and two-thirds innings while walking two.

Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights won thanks in part to nine runs in the second inning.  Suhaas Medithe drew a walk, scoring one run, Jack Vadino doubled, scoring three runs, Leo Koveleski singled, scoring one run, Alexander Stockett was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Janik Rittinger singled, scoring three runs.

Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Ethan Stem scored after tagging up, and DiFiore homered to center field, scoring two runs.

Bray took the loss for Valley Forge Military Academy. The pitcher went four innings, surrendering 12 runs (11 earned) on eight hits, striking out five and walking five.

Vadino drove the middle of the lineup, leading Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights with four runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. DiFiore, Koveleski, and Rittinger each collected two hits for Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights. Jack Trexler, Stockett, and Stem each stole multiple bases for Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights. Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights ran wild on the base paths, piling up nine stolen bases for the game. Renaissance Academy Varsity Knights didn't commit a single error in the field. Vadino had the most chances in the field with 10.

Barry led the team with one run batted in. Rios went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Valley Forge Military Academy in hits.
